The Sandy Hook Unit made it an absolute pleasure to serve. Throughout our time of assistance there, the National Park Service never left our youth or our disaster assistance group in need of anything. A simple phone call to them will get you started on a fun and exciting working vacation. We highly recommend it!
Here is an article they were nice enough to write up about our time assisting there:

Thanks to my friends and team members for helping with cleaning up St. Charles! We really made a difference in an area Ryan Young found for our team to clean! Him and his nephew did so awesome! Gabriel Cotton and his kids did great as well! You guys rocked it! The St Charles Presbyterian Church with Margaret Osborn and Pastor Ronnie Osborn, their active youth group including my son and wife as well as others helped us put a huge dent in the filth!

by BoochA perfect day with many volunteers from the area to help get this site cleaned up! The flood ground was hard enough for our large trucks yet soft enough to remove debris. Thank you team 211 for organizing this one!
Come help and have fun with us! Call 314-441-9955
MILLIONS OF MOSQUITO’S EVICTED!
by Booch
February 15th at 8:30am until the 16th 4:00pm.
This cleanup needs everyone’s help. This land has been collecting trash since the Great Flood of 1993. There are 1000’s of tires, hundreds of 50 gallon barrels, 3 boats, hot tubs, fuel-oil tanks, camper-shells, and a whole bunch of litter and trash. In some areas, you can walk across the trash without touching the ground. Yes, it is that bad.
This will be a two day cleanup, and we will still not be completed with this area. This will be a ongoing project for years, but we can make a large dent in the trash. With this amount of tires and barrels, the mosquito population is completely out of whack.
We will be having food on Saturday around the Noon hour and be parking in the George Khoury League Ball Field parking lot, then walking in to the site. Multiple dumpsters will be needed for this one.
We could use ATV’s and a Bobcat if you have them, possible with a trailer or two.
This is also a good opportunity for Community Service for Scouts, church/school groups.
PLEASE CALL 314-441-9955 so our group can work as a team. Any amount of time you can offer is greatly appreciated! Please visit our Facebook Page for more information:
