The planning and support by local businesses and individuals for this event was staggering. It was great to see so many people supporting such a great cause! We had the best weather and incidents were low. It was a pleasure to have volunteered helping with radio communications for such a great group of people. Thank you everyone that helped organize and raise money to fight MS!
We are setting up for long term recovery in Highlands NJ over the next month if anyone in that area would like to volunteer their time. Our operations continue in some other states as well, please inquire if you have interest in serving our communities.
The Sandy Hook Unit made it an absolute pleasure to serve. Throughout our time of assistance there, the National Park Service never left our youth or our disaster assistance group in need of anything. A simple phone call to them will get you started on a fun and exciting working vacation. We highly recommend it!
